What Makes ThorroClean Different
ThorroClean was built for shooters who are tired of chemical soak cycles. It is a mechanical cleaning liquid, soft on barrel steel. Applied to a quality bore brush, it lifts copper and carbon on contact. Ten to fifteen strokes through the bore, then two or three patches of ThorroFlush to rinse. Most barrels clean in under five minutes, if cleaned regularly. The formula was developed by Bullet Central. It is carried in Gun Cleaning Solvents and Oils and sold direct from the manufacturer.

What is the difference between ThorroClean and ThorroFlush?
ThorroClean is the mechanical cleaner that removes copper and carbon fouling. ThorroFlush is the rinse that clears all ThorroClean residue out of the bore before the next round goes downrange. You need both for the two-part system.
Does ThorroClean work on copper or just carbon?
Both. It is especially effective on baked-on carbon and carbon rings in the throat, where chemical-only cleaners often leave residue behind. For heavy copper after long strings, some shooters follow ThorroClean with a dedicated copper solvent, but for routine match-day fouling ThorroClean alone handles it.
How does ThorroClean compare to Wipe-Out, Bore Tech Eliminator, or other chemical cleaners?
Different method, different time. Chemical soak products require 15 minutes or more of dwell time per cycle, sometimes multiple cycles. ThorroClean uses mechanical action that works during brushing, with no soak time. Most shooters report a complete clean in under five minutes. The trade-off is that ThorroClean requires active brushing rather than a passive soak.
How many patches and strokes per cleaning?
A teaspoon of ThorroClean on a quality bronze or nylon bore brush, ten to fifteen strokes through the bore from breech to muzzle, a dry patch to push out the slurry, then two to three patches of ThorroFlush to rinse. For a heavy carbon ring, increase brush strokes to twenty or thirty and inspect with a borescope.
